AN AVERAGE

An Average is a story derived from the real-life of an average person in an Indian Society. The Struggle to make own identity, Living in an era of Hope. Dreaming for the standard life which an upper-class Indian can easily afford. Fear of harsh realities, Killing own thoughts & feelings, etc.

I have taken the best example to explain the bitter truth and the struggle an average Indian goes through. This story is inspired by a persons' life but most of us experience the same.
Without wasting any time, let's enjoy the life hacks. Assure you will find it interesting and most importantly,  You will find yourself in it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here I am using alternate names by looking at the privacy of the persons included in this story.

In most of the stories, we found characters belonging to an economically backward or average economy group. This is because of their struggle and managing skills to break the chains from which one can learn and get motivated.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Praveen, The hero of my story. He is the youngest child of his family. He has one sibling. If we will look into their family income strength, It would be a max of 1 lakh(Rupees) per annum. Maybe this is enough to have a two-time full meal for the whole family (If they are living in rural or remote locations) in India. Here they may have to sacrifice their dreams (from pursuing a career to living a standard life). This is the harsh reality of an average Indian life.

Praveen has got a brilliant mind, a good brain! He is good at Mathematics since his childhood but a little poor in Languages.

You might have noticed, Those who are good at Mathematics are a little confusing. I just felt the same for Praveen here. Please give your opinion in the comment section below👇

Praveen is followed by his elder brother Rupesh. Since Rupesh was the elder child of the family and good at studying, he was adorable and an inspiration for the Praveen.

They were just like two friends from a womb. One is good at judgment and another one is hardworking. One prepared the road map, another one followed the same with perfection. In one sentence, you can say- "No one is full" or "A perfect combination".

In this competitive world, You must not be dependable which may cost you. As no one can guide you or give holding hands on your path for the long run

With the flow of time, they grew up. Rupesh completed his 10th standard with good marks and went out for his higher study. He had to stay in the college hostel far away from his home. He would be able to make phone calls twice a week. They could meet only during the vacations.

Praveen was turned off and started feeling lonely. He was missing his guidance. As time never wait for anyone or any situation, Praveen stepped on to class 10th. He focused on the board exam to get admission to a reputed college to pursue his career like his brother. (This is the harsh reality of the Indian education system, We focused on securing good marks rather than focusing on getting the knowledge from books)

He secured good marks and could able to achieve the first position in his school but that was not enough to get admission to the college he wanted to join. At last, he got admission on the spot seat.

The one who was in the top position in his locality had no name in the average students' list in the college he got admission to.

New city, Students having a good family background, Expensive attires, Impressive communication skills, etc had made him more uncomfortable there. He was in the state of Hero to zero.

Eventually, he was losing his identity but never gave up. He was very hard working since his childhood and stuck to the same siding all these awkward and mental disturbances.

Due to his hard work, he came into sight of the hostel warden and later on highlighted up to the Dean.
He came into the limelight after being selected as the class Monitor.

He was too conscious of his character, which did not allow him to enjoy moments like others used to do.

He could able to make a few friends, a tiny friend circle but that did not last long due to his finicky choosy behavior. There was a reason behind his more consciousness.

It was the time, while he fell in love with the college crush. He was in the race to impress her. No way, he could be a bad boy for any reason, so that his journey to impress her will be hampered.

Just to show himself a so-called nice person to her, he preached down his best friend. As a result, he lost his friendship but could not able to impress her.

Let's have a look, what really happened that day!

Literally, Praveen used to go early and leave the classroom after everybody out there left. It was the day, Mohit (A friend of Praveen) was early to class. He wrote something unusual on the desk where Rojalin (College Crush) used to seat with his friends.  Everyone has a different proposing style. It was kind of that.

Rojalin reported the same to the college principal. Before the counseling team's interpretation, in this case, Praveen just wanted to have a clean character. He was the only person who knew who did that. Action could be different but he just opened up everything.

It is been eight-year since they mate last time. There is no see, No communication, still, he eagerly waiting for her response. With a hope that she will be back and will fill his incompleteness.

We just swoon away. Before that, I want to tell you, What did he do in these intervals. What happened after the completion of their Intermediate?

Some of you may wonder, was that everything that I have described so far happened in class 12th. Yes, it is!

After completion of their intermediate, They got separated by the different career goals.

Praveen chose to do graduation in Physics in an Autonomous College while Sweta was preparing for the Medical Entrance Exams. He never collects the guts to propose to her. It was just his feelings that still kill him from inside.

Now almost a year has passed. Between these days, the gender barrier between boys and girls was no longer what it was in Intermediate. Almost all the friends of Rojalin are now in Praveen's friend circle.

During a coffee time with friends in the college canteen, One of them started talking about the old days. It was all for fun purposes. They were just discussing their change in behavior, study timing, past crush and loves, etc.

When Praveen came to know, he became emotional, Rojalin also fell in love with him. She was waiting for his proposal. On the last day of the hostel, she cried saying that she might not meet again.

His feelings popped up again. He collected her phone number from the friend circle.

Praveen made her call............. There was no response from another side for the last 3 attempts he had done. Finally, Someone picked up the phone. It was an agitated voice. Yes, He was Rojalin's father.

I don't know, What did he tell him. He just end the phone call and deleted the number. I have never seen him like that before. A heightened expectation ends here.

On the next day, Prajakta (Rojalin's best friend) proposed Praveen. Maybe she was aware of all those happenings. Praveen was already disturbed, He simply refused her proposal and move away.

Praveen got off the emotional track. This was the best and peak time of his student life. He filled the candidacy form for a college president in the college student election.

His craze and popularity got hiked in a few days. It was the time while another girl came into his life.

Swapna newly joined the college with Chemistry Hons... She was of course very beautiful, smart, and talented.

Swapna just came across Praveen and with time she got closer. Like typical college lovers do. Conversation between them took their relationship to next level.

Swapna wanted to get the transfer certificate from the college for admission to the new college. It was next to impossible for her. She cleverly used Praveen (since he was a presidential candidate, he has some Union power on his hands).

There is no see till now after getting the TC from the college. No message yet.

He wasted his time in the election campaigning, Finally, he lost the election.

Though his popularity was at its peak but the intervention of the local politicians had taken over the result. They spoiled his career. He could able to get average marks in his graduation. Once again a Rise and fall off.

Though, He could able to make his name but lost the fame. A name without fame is more painful than having no identity.

As I told you before, He was poor in making decisions. Bad in preparing road map. Set own career goal. He still suffers from the same.

What to do? is the biggest question for him right now. He became mature, able to give suggestions for others but can't handle his own floatings.

A lot to learn and inspire from him...

How does he set an example????

How did he manage to get out of the traps and bad tracks of life????

To be continued.....
