SUDHA, A TEEN MOTHER ~ Nihar's Blog

This story is about Sudha's life. She got married at the age of 15 only.

Sudha was born into a lower-middle-class family. They were two sisters and one brother. She was the youngest among them. Most probably, Her parents wanted to have a boy child after her brother. This is a kind of mindset in lower-middle-class families to have 2 Sons.

There were a total of 7 members in her family including her Grandmother and a Paternal aunt, who was divorced by her husband. She was having a clerk job in a government office.

Sudha's Grandfather had already died before she was born. People say She's absolutely gone to her grandfather. He was a humble good looking gentleman.

She was ignored by her family members except for her mother. Her mother had a soft corner for her.

Sudha had been an average student throughout her career but she was good at sports. She was friendly and was good at sarcasm.

She would be in class 9 while she fell in love with a college dropout boy Binod. He was a master in flattering. He would be around 24-25 years old at that time. He was able to bait her easily.

Since she was teen and had entered into the puberty, Her mind was hijacked by the hormonal secretion of the body. This might be the reason why she got trapped easily. It is said that impressing and trapping a girl is a skill. He was the master in that skill. Anyway, He was a humorous personality.

Binod used to Stare and stock her regularly. Finally, He persuades her to love her. To be in a relationship with him. There were a number of possible reasons for why she persuaded.

1) She was ignored by the family members which lacking/emptiness was filled by Binod's love and care for her.

2) Teachers used to punish/torture weaker students like insane. Since she was an average student, Might be she was looking for possible probes to escape.

3) It seems like, She never had a dream to follow up. She was just trying to live the best present of her life. She was just trying to escape from her turbulence instead of facing it.

Somehow, she was able to live the best present of her life with Binod. Love in teenagers is the best feeling ever anyone would have. She was just flying in the colorful sky. It was the time of her
Promotional exam of class 9. Slowly all these things had come into the public.

Villagers started scoffing at her father and other family members. Soon, The counter effect was noticed in her life. She was tortured for being in a relationship with that bad guy.

She was threatened by her father, Paternal Aunt, and Grandmother. The eagle-eyed on her movements, at last, made her stay at home. They did not allow her to go for the exam. It was a kind of prisoner's life. No independence to live.

Like, Grasp all lose all, Somehow she eloped from her home with Binod. Since Binod was the only son of his parents, He had all the rights by them. The economic standard of Binod's family was quite good as compare to Sudha but Binod was the unemployed roaming guy.

She was a minor, They could not be officially married. By performing some fundamental rituals They accepted her as the daughter-in-law of their family. Binod's parents were very supportive and friendly. They treated her like their daughter.

On the other hand, there was no response from Sudha's Father. He did not lodge any missing complain in the police station neither searched her anywhere. He was having a snobbish behavior towards her. You can say, He pretended to be strong in away.

Anyway, they got married and started living a family life together. At the very soon, she got pregnant. She would be around 15+ only. Unluckily the fetus (baby) inside her uterus (womb).

This was the most devastating and extremely distressing moment for her. She was completely broken down in deep sorrow. This was the most terrible and grief experience for the whole family. Soon she managed to come out from the stricken by the family support.

I forgot to add something here that The so-called bad boy Binod had changed after marrying her. The main possible reasons would be He fell in such traumatic situations for the first time in his life which was completely opposite to his lifestyle.

Binod had become a compliant family man. To get out of this trauma, they wanted to have a baby in her lap.

Soon, Good news came. She got pregnant and at the age of 16-17, She gave birth to a baby girl. Everybody in the family was happy ever. There was no limit and boundary to their happiness.

Though Sudha was happy with that baby girl, She intrinsically wanted to have a baby boy. It was the wish of her mother-in-law too. She was ignored only because she was a girl. She wanted to have a baby boy.

The next year, She became pregnant once again. It was the wish of all the family members to have a baby boy after her daughter. Luckily, they came to know, there is a baby boy in her womb ( By doing ultrasound).

By the grace of God, She gave birth to a baby boy. She herself went blind after giving birth to his child. She was unable to see anything, get up, and do her works. Unfortunately, Her Baby boy died in Asthma after 6 days to his birth.

Though Family members were in deep mourning after the demise of their most waited guests of their family. They pretended to be strong and were normal with her. She didn't even know anything about that great loss.

She was in the hospital for her treatment. She became well in 3 months. It was time , while the doctor advised her and her family members not to carry a child in the future which may cost her life. That means she can never produce babies anymore in the future.

Gradually, She found to know about her baby and managed herself and moved on. Her first baby girl was the one and only lifeline for her. She gave her all the love and support that she never had from her family.

Disha ( Sudha's Daughter) would be 5 years old while her Grandfather died in blood cancer. It was like misfortune never comes alone.

A bolt from the blue on their family. He was the backbone of their family. After his demise, The whole family had to undergo economic crises.

Binod was not skilled in managing and leading his father's business. The business did not run well. Sudha wanted to help him out in their business but couldn't. In between these days, Sudha had completed her 10th. She got a job in an NGO and could earn enough to feed her family. Gradually she became popular and had created her own identity in a few years. She kept continue her education and successfully completed Graduation. Her daughter was in class 3 at that time. It was really challenging and tough to overcome all these struggles.

The family business was not running well. She helped her husband in their business. She had a good image and became popular by working in an NGO. It was easy to fetch people's attention. Like, To the pure all things come pure. They made their business stand strong again.
